Directions
- Wash and dry your hands thoroughly.
- Identify the irritating wire, bracket, or appliance.
- Pinch off a small piece of wax, approximately pea-sized, and soften it by rolling it between clean fingers or warming it slightly in your mouth if needed.
- Press the wax firmly onto the problem area to cover the sharp edge completely.
- Ensure the area is dry for best adhesion. Use as needed, especially after meals or when discomfort arises.
- Replace the wax if it falls off. Contact your orthodontist if irritation persists or if an appliance or wire is broken.
