Description

The Tommee Tippee Nursery is a 260ml pink baby feeding bottle made from lightweight polypropylene, supplied with a soft silicone slow-flow teat for babies aged 0 months and over.

Product details

  • The bottle body, retaining ring and lid are made from polypropylene (PP), while the teat and anti-colic valve are silicone.
  • The soft silicone teat has a breast-like shape and includes an anti-colic valve to vent air away from the milk.
  • The wide-neck bottle is designed for filling and cleaning, and holds approximately 9oz of milk or formula.
  • This single bottle is BPA-free, BPS-free and phthalate-free, and is supplied with a lid.

Care instructions

  • Sterilise the bottle before first use and regularly thereafter.
  • Wash in hot soapy water or place on the top rack of a dishwasher.
  • Replace the teat every 1-2 months or sooner if damaged or worn.
  • Store with the lid on in a cool, dry place away from sunlight.
  • Do not expose the bottle to temperatures above 100C during sterilisation.

Directions

  • Wash your hands before handling the bottle.
  • Prepare formula or milk according to the relevant feeding guidance, then allow it to cool to body temperature before feeding.
  • Insert the anti-colic valve into the teat, place the teat in the retaining ring, and screw the assembly securely onto the bottle.
  • Hold the baby semi-upright during feeding and burp midway and at the end.
  • To self-sterilise, add 50ml of water to the empty bottle, loosely place the assembled lid, ring and teat on top, and microwave on high for 3 minutes. Allow the parts to cool before handling.
  • Use milk within 1 hour of starting a feed and discard any leftover milk.

Warnings

  • Always supervise the baby during feeds and never leave a baby unattended with the bottle.
  • Test the milk temperature on your wrist before feeding and do not microwave assembled bottles containing milk.
  • Do not use cracked, discoloured or damaged parts; replace worn teats immediately because they may pose a choking hazard.
  • Check that the teat flow is suitable for the baby's age and ability.
  • Do not use for carbonated drinks or thick foods.
  • Keep out of reach of children when not in use. Consult a paediatrician about colic, allergies or feeding issues.
