Care instructions
- Clean the cup thoroughly after each use.
- Sterilise between periods by boiling it in water for 5-10 minutes.
Directions
- Wash your hands and the cup with mild soap and water.
- Sterilise the cup by boiling it in water for 5-10 minutes before first use and between cycles.
- Fold the cup, such as with a C-fold or punch-down fold, and insert it while in a comfortable position. Use the ring to help guide insertion.
- Rotate or wiggle the cup so it opens fully and forms a seal against the vaginal wall.
- Leave in for up to 8-12 hours depending on flow.
- To remove, reach for the ring, pinch the cup to break the seal, and gently pull it out. Empty the contents, rinse the cup and reinsert after cleaning.
Warnings
- Do not use with an IUD without consulting a doctor, as the cup may interfere with placement.
- Do not leave the cup in for longer than 8-12 hours; change it within this maximum period to avoid risk of infection.
- Stop use if irritation, rash or discomfort occurs and consult a healthcare professional.
- Not suitable for those with a low cervix.
- This product is not a contraceptive; use backup protection if needed.
